from Mamie, HarperCollins Children's Books, Nov 2018

Since reconnecting with my long-lost illustration skills in 2014, I've been busy learning new techniques, and currently work in watercolour, pencil, ink, monoprinting and digital.

In 2014, I began the 52-Week Illustration Challenge as a way to reconnect with drawing and painting. It became an enormous success, with over 7000 members, worldwide. The same year, I won a highly commended nod in the Emerging Illustrator Mentorship with the Australian Society of Authors, and was fortunate to receive a brief mentorship with Sue deGennaro.

I'm constantly learning and growing, and loving this parallel creative journey, alongside my beloved writing.

See current illustrated works below.

Upcoming illustrated books include This is Home with Jackie French (National Library, Apr 2019), Australia Map Puzzle (Hardie Grant Travel, June 2019), Fauna (National Library of Australia, Nov 2019), Explore the World! large format picture book (Hardie Grant Travel, 2020), junior fiction series Evie and Pog (HarperCollins, 2020), a collaboration with Stephanie Owen Reeder (National Library of Australia, 2020/21), a non-fiction picture book (National Library of Australia (2021/22).
